Free Training on Drug Recognition for Parents, Educators and Professionals

MATFORCE is sponsoring a free training on drug recognition in Prescott on April 18th. This event will provide valuable insights to anyone interested in learning more about the types of drugs that are being abused today. The information is especially helpful for parents, educators, and professionals.

The training will be facilitated by Detective James Tobin of the Prescott Valley Police Department. The information he will share is designed to help anyone determine if a person is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or both. As signs of impairment vary depending on what drug has been used, Detective Tobin will also outline the different categories of drugs and the signs of impairment for each type of drug.

The training will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at the Yavapai County Education Service Agency Meeting Room, located at 2970 Centerpointe East Drive in Prescott.

Please RSVP for this event as seating is limited. RSVP to or by calling 928-708-0100.
