PRESCOTT, Ariz. – With their California Pacific Conference win streak on the line, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Ariz.) volleyball took care of business at home against UC Merced in a three set sweep (25-14, 25-19, 25-22).
Sharik Joseph was the x-factor for the Eagles (12-5, 4-0 Cal Pac) tonight, she had a season high six blocks and coupled that with a .700 hitting percentage on ten attacks. ERAU outgunned the Bobcats (5-9, 2-2 Cal Pac) tonight, hitting at a .327 clip compared to the solid .187.
Caylee Robalin led all attackers with 11 kills, followed closely by the southpaw Elisa Pauzer who had 10. Erin Clark was all over the place digging 12 and killed nine of her own.
Audrey Baldwin led all passers with 34 assists and was able to block two at the net. Terra Gordon and Kat Yung were good options for the Eagles serving up two aces a piece.
The Eagles will take on Pacific Union tomorrow night at 7:30 pm MST in Eagle Gym.
