Lions Honor 4.0 Students

07 April 2014

Bradshaw Mountain and Prescott High School Students Recognized

Seniors from Bradshaw Mountain and Prescott High Schools with a 4.0 grade point average were honored at the Prescott Sunrise Lions Banquet at the Stoneridge Bar and Grill. The banquet began at 6:00pm, with Lions President Elect Tony Humphrey welcoming the students and their families. The pledge of allegiance was led by 93 year-old Al Cheney, who has been a Lion for over 30 years. Brittany Cleveland, from Bradshaw Mountain High School, sung the National Anthem. The invocation was conducted by Katie Bradstrett, a student at Prescott High School.

The keynote address was given by Reverend Dr. Daniel Storvick, who congratulated the students, but gave much recognition to the parents who have encouraged their students to be their best. The audience was captivated with his story about teaching children right and wrong, and being the best "you", you can be.

The evening ended with President David Snyder and Dr. Storvick presenting certificates and medals to each student.  Here are those students who were honored that evening.
