HS Drama Department Presents ‘Cinderella' This Weekend

The Prescott High School (PHS) Drama Department is presenting Cinderella by Tom Smith this upcoming weekend, November 3rd, 4th & 5th at Ruth Street Theater.

Directed by Sarah Lehleitner, this whimsical version of the play is perfect for young audiences and families, and will have a holiday theme to set off the season. Cinderella is a young girl who spends her days cooking and cleaning for her jealous stepmother and stepsisters. She finds her only comfort in reading books and daydreaming about attending the Prince's ball. When her Fairy Godmother appears, magic ensues!

Starring Grace Barrett as Cinderella, Jonas Yarbro as Prince Charming, Gracie Roberts as Stepmother and Brianna Brusich & Grace Olsen as the Stepsisters, the play has a cast of 31 talented and dedicated students. With original choreography by Dori Harnly-Allwein, the show is a spectacle filled with dancing, music and comedy.

The PHS Drama Department would love to invite all children to attend the show dressed in prince and princess costumes. They will have the opportunity to come on stage and meet Cinderella and her friends at the end of each show. Parents will be able to take pictures of their children with the characters as well.

The show runs Thursday, November 3rd and Friday, 4th at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, November 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Ruth Street Theater. The Theater is located at 1050 N. Ruth Street, Prescott, AZ 86301. Tickets may be purchased at the PHS bookstore or at the box office at 6:30 PM on the night of each show.

Cash or check only: Adults $10, Students $5.
