School Delay & Closure Information

Prescott Unified School District School  Snow Day details. 2 hour delay. Note from Superintendent Joe Howard:

"PUSD will be operating on a two hour delay schedule today 2/11/19. The Prescott area received a small amount of precipitation between two and three a.m. Along with cold temperatures, many of our roads became very icy. Plows are out, but have a big job in getting cinders on all of the icy roads. This delay will allow our buses and also our family drivers to take some extra time for the commute this morning. This does not mean that roads will necessarily be clear after the two hours. Temperatures will remain freezing well into the late morning. Our drivers checked throughout our varied elevations around 4 AM, finding conditions much more slick than last week's brief winter storm. There are varied plans with our higher elevation families that will be communicated on our website and facebook as they become available. As always, we understand that based on different local conditions and the skills and experience of drivers, individual families will need to make their own decisions about driving. With that in mind, PUSD staff is always flexible and understanding of these different circumstances for our families. Drive safe!"

Abia Judd, Taylor Hicks, Lincoln and Granite Mountain: 10:25 AM; Mile High Middle School: 10:10 AM; Prescott High School: 10 AM, no early bird classes
