So, we already wrote about the Kids' Film Festival, which is awesome, but you may be wondering about the fare for grownups.
Yes, there are lots of movies today for grownups, you can choose from the historic Elks Theater and the Prescott Center for the Arts.
Andrew Johnson-Schmit is the host at the Elks Theater, and here's what he wrote on Facebook about it:
"Got a good night of sleep last night, dusting off the fez and getting ready for a marathon day and night as Movie Master of Ceremonies at the Elks Opera House Theatre. 12 hours of awesome movie madness at the 2nd Annual Prescott Film Festival.
"Why do I do it? Well, I loves me some cinema, the Elks Opera House Theatre is the ultimate movie geek experience in Northern AZ, its a brew and view full service concession stand and there is that wine reception across the street at the Hassyampa Inn! See ya there!"
Also, don't forget, tonight's the infamous Wine Tasting.
Here's the description from the Prescott Film Festival website:
Wine Tasting - 5pm Saturday November 5th
Join us for a wonderful Wine Tasting and film screening! This year we will be at the fabulous historic Hassayampa Inn's Arizona Room tasting wines from Pillsbury Winery and Juniper Well Ranch & Vineyards and tasty hors d'oeuvres! After the wine tasting walk across the street to the beautiful Elks Theatre and join us for a fabulous film, the new romantic comedy, Take Me Home. The film stars Sam Jaeger from the television show Parenthood. The film's producer Jane Kelly Kosek is scheduled to attend.
