Tracy Newman adds Sharlot Hall to her mini-AZ tour.

"When Tracy Newman took the stage with her band, I was instantly tickled. The band was tight in all the right ways, and lose where it mattered" – Culver City News

"Throughout the show there were laughs and a real connection to the audience. From Emmy-Award winning television writer ("Cheers", "The Drew Carry show", "Ellen") to accolades and awards for her songs, Tracy is one of those budding stars of songwriting that, for a moment, you’re fooled into thinking she spent her career singing." – We Ho News

Here's why we're going to Arizona: About 6 months ago, a woman named Bonnie Vinning wrote to me. Among other things, she books musical acts for the Abounding Grace Sanctuary in Tucson. She has had my CD, " A Place in the Sun" for four years and says she loves it. So even though she'd never seen us perform, she decided to bring us there to play.

Here's how she got my CD: In 2008, I took the Reinforcements with me to a Far-West Folk Alliance Conference... I think it was in Mesa, AZ that year. I had booked 15 guerilla showcases for us to perform at... a very busy schedule, and when we got there I developed an extreme case of laryngitis. I literally couldn't talk. Needless to say, I was extremely bummed. With the help of my two singers, I had to find replacements for all 15 shows! Even though I just wanted to sleep, I forced myself to go to all the shows and watch the other acts and hand out my CDs. Bonnie was one of the people I gave one to! Another example of the good business advice "just show up!"

When I booked that show, I decided I needed to make a small tour out of it!
