'Clinton Cash' Comes to Prescott

30 October 2016

You’ve heard about the Clinton Foundation, but how are funds raised and where does the money go?

Answers to these questions and more are in the documentary, “Clinton Cash,” a movie based on the book, Clinton Cash by Peter Schweizer. The movie will be shown at the Prescott Adult Center on Tuesday, November 1. It is sponsored by the Republican Women of Prescott (RWOP), and is open to the public, free of charge.

According to the Clinton Cash movie website, "Clinton Cash investigates how Bill and Hillary Clinton went from being “dead broke” after leaving the White House to amassing a net worth of over $150 million, with over $2 billion in donations to their foundation. This wealth was accumulated during Mrs. Clinton’s tenure as US Secretary of State through lucrative speaking fees and contracts paid for by foreign companies and Clinton Foundation donors.”

For those interested in doing a bit of research before viewing the movie, there is more to the Clinton Foundation than meets the eye, according to the website, Discover the Networks.  Included in the Clinton Foundation is, The Clinton Health Access Initiative; the Clinton Climate Initiative; the Alliance for a Healthier Generation; the Clinton Economic Opportunity Initiative; and the Clinton Development Initiative.
