Heroin Dealer Arrested for the 3rd time in Recent Months

On August 29, 2016, at approximately 9:30 AM, 58-year-old Mina Gooldy was arrested following a search warrant at her home in the 1000 block of Dixon Drive, Prescott. She was booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center on charges including Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Possession of a Narcotic Drug for Sales, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possess Firearm during the Commission of a felony. She remains in-custody on a $20,000 bond.

Background – Recently, detectives from the Partner’s Against Narcotics Trafficking (PANT) task force developed information involving heroin sales by Gooldy from a home in the 1000 block of Dixon Drive, Prescott. Based on this evidence, detectives obtained a search warrant for the home and as a result, seized nearly 10 grams of heroin along with a usable quantity of methamphetamine and heroin-related drug paraphernalia. Detectives also recovered a handgun next to papers documenting recent drug transactions. During the investigation, Gooldy was directly connected to the illicit sales and arrested on the indicated charges. Gooldy also admitted to ongoing personal use of heroin.

Previous arrests – In June of this year, PANT detectives stopped Gooldy while she was driving a black 2013 Kia passenger car and located more than 70 grams of heroin, 30 grams of meth, morphine pills and a loaded handgun.

Gooldy was booked on several drug related charges including the Possession/Transportation/Sales of Drugs and Narcotics. She was eventually released on a $25,000 bond. The vehicle was seized pending forfeiture proceedings.

Early this month, August 18th, PANT detectives were called to assist Prescott Valley Police officers in a traffic stop with Gooldy who was now driving a red 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo sedan. About 26 grams of heroin were found in her possession.

Gooldy was again arrested for Transportation and Possession of a Narcotic Drug. She was booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center and later released on $20,000 bond.
