It’s going to be a short week for City of Prescott construction crews.
Before the Thanksgiving holiday, crews are installing a new concrete catch basin near the Schemmer Drive and Miller Valley Road intersection. Crews have also finished installing and testing new water lines along North Washington Avenue, from East Sheldon Street to Churchill Street, and along Churchill, from North Washington to Arizona Avenue. Installation of the first lift of asphalt pavement on Washington is taking place this week. Over on Robinson Drive, crews are excavating the roadway and preparing the subgrade between East Gurley Street and Moore Place. The installation of concrete sidewalks, driveway entrances and curb and gutter between East Gurley and Flatau Drive is also ongoing. All construction on these projects will be on hold due to the Thanksgiving holiday from 6 tonight through 7 Monday morning.
