Badgers Can't Overcome Deficit Against Rival Bears
PRESCOTT- Following a road win against Lee Williams the previous Friday, the Badgers were unable to keep the momentum going losing to rival Bradshaw for the second time this year 48-38 on Tuesday night at Prescott High School.

The Badgers would only trail by three points after the first quarter but Bradshaw would turn up the heat and outscore the Badgers 22-12 in the next two quarters to take a commanding 34-21 lead into the final quarter of play. Prescott High School would come back to outscore the Bears by 17-14 but it was too little too late for the Badgers to claw back.

“Sometimes we were forcing shots that weren’t open,” Badgers junior Theresa Guiterrez said after the game. “When we just get the ball and we’re off on the races and we chuck it up there, it’s not something we should have be doing.”

It didn’t get any better on the road Wednesday for Prescott High School dropping the game against Coconino 56-20.

The Badgers (7-14, 2-8) will head home for the final two games as Prescott High School will matchup against Mohave on Friday at 2:30pm during “Hoopcoming” and play a makeup game against Coconino on Saturday at 2:30 pm.
