Badgers Boys and Girls Win Every Event in Three-Team Swim Meet

PRESCOTT- The Prescott High School Badgers boys and girls swim teams dominated a three-team meet at the Prescott YMCA on Tuesday, September 19th, finishing first in every event and combining to score 319 points against Desert Edge and Goldwater.

The boy’s two-hundred-yard medley team of seniors Tate Bassett, Paul Kinach, Dallin Jex and sophomore Harris Temple finished with a time of 1:53.67. In the four-hundred-yard freestyle relay, the team finished with a 3:46.63 time.

Meanwhile, the boy’s two-hundred-yard freestyle relay team of freshman Dane Bassett, sophomore Sean Henegar and Colton Tomitz along with senior Coltin Farnsworth came in with a time of 1:52.56.

Bria Christopherson, Alycia Warren, Lacey Ingallina and Trinity Lazzell accumulated a time of 2:15.80 on the girl’s two-hundred-yard medley relay. Christopherson, Lacey Ingallina, Lazell and Lily Deakin finished the four-hundred-yard freestyle relay with a 4:33.79 finishing time.

In the girl’s two-hundred-yard freestyle relay, sophomores Makenzie Ingallina, Warren, MaKenna Jex and junior Victoria Winsberg had a final time of 2:07.59.

The girl’s team was consistent as Lacy Ingallina, Deakin and Christopherson each won two races with Lazzell and Warren each coming in first during an event.

The men’s team matched the women as Dallin Jex, Temple, Kinach and Tate Bassett each won two events.

Prescott High School has one final home meet remaining this season before ending the campaign on the road as senior night will be held Thursday, September 28th, at the Prescott YMCA. The three-team meet against AZ College Prep and Thunderbird begins at 4:00 pm.
