Roughriders' Volleyball Third Win in A Row Gives Coach Shaver Career Victory #200
PRESCOTT- The 3-0 win against Chandler-Gilbert Community College on the road Friday, September 22nd, not only gave the Yavapai College Roughriders volleyball team their third win in a row but also head coach Zach Shaver’s 200th career victory.

Shaver is in his fifth season as head coach of the Yavapai College Roughriders, before serving seven years as head coach of the NCAA division two Indiana University of Pennsylvania along with a stint at Chico State, according to the Roughriders official site.

Under Shaver’s leadership, the Roughriders have qualified for the postseason the last two years with the program’s first Region 1/ District C Championship in 2015.

The win on Friday night puts Shaver’s overall record with the Roughriders at 83-53, an over .600 winning percentage.
